    The Dance Program emphasizes the creative process within a liberal arts setting. Dance is a part of the Department of Theatre, Speech and Dance.
  2. Data Science
    Data science students learn to explore patterns in large data sets and identify potential trends and insights. Our approach is interdisciplinary, blending topics from many fields: communication, computer science, information science, mathematics and philosophy.
  3. DC Semester Program
    The DC Semester Program is an academic opportunity with an internship component managed by the W&M Washington Center. The program is open to students in all majors and disciplines, and financial assistance is available. DC Semester Program scholars receive 6-8 credits for their coursework and an additional 6 credits for the academic work they complete in association with their internship.
  4. Decolonizing Humanities Project
    Decolonizing Humanities Project at William & Mary is a self-generated, faculty initiative that explores the ways in which we as a William & Mary community can integrate alternative modes of knowledge production, art, culture, and social practices into our pedagogy, the lives of our students, our own lives and the university itself.
  5. Dining Services
    Dining Services provides a comprehensive dining program which features a variety of meal plan options to meet the varying needs of students.

  7. Disbursements
    Disbursements is an integral piece of Supply Chain Services. The department is responsible for the printing of vendor checks, payroll checks, direct deposit statements and manual checks requiring special handling. Disbursements is also responsible for processing stop payments, void checks, sales tax, and salary and travel advances.
  8. Diversity & Inclusion , Office of
    The Office of Diversity & Inclusion spearheads the university's affirmative action and diversity efforts. As a part of that mission, it helps to remedy discrimination and harassment. We are committed to creating a community that is representative and inclusive of individuals with different backgrounds, talents and skills.
  9. Dual Careers
    Responding to the challenges of dual career needs assists in contributing to the intellectual diversity of the institution and is an important aspect of recruiting and retaining faculty at William & Mary.
  10. DC Summer Institutes
    Operated through the W&M Washington Center, the DC Summer Institutes are intensive six-credit academic programs composed of a compressed course and 10-week internship in DC. The Institutes allow undergraduate student fellows to combine classroom and experiential learning, while seeing the dynamic institutions of the Washington, DC area first hand.
