Learn about our unique pre-college courses, undergraduate summer courses, and fully online degree programs and certificates from our graduate schools.

William & Mary’s Pre-College Online Program

High school students ages 13 and up can take pre-college courses designed and taught by renowned William & Mary faculty. Our programs — which range from psychology, venture capital and medicine — will enable students to gain valuable insights and skills from expert practitioners working at the center of their fields. All courses are 100% online, allowing students to study at their own pace. Lessons are delivered through dynamic videos, and students are guided by mentors from related fields. High schoolers can earn a Certificate of Completion from William & Mary, which will be a mark of distinction in college applications.

Undergraduate Summer Opportunities

William & Mary offers an expanding variety of online summer courses across our curriculum. From Greek civilization to computer science to Africana studies, online summer courses offer W&M students the flexibility to take W&M courses remotely. The W&M Washington Center also offers hybrid summer courses with three-credit classes running over the course of five weeks — mostly online classwork with five consecutive evening sessions in D.C.

Raymond A. Mason School of Business

The Business School’s Center for Online Learning currently offers five fully online programs — an Online MBA, Online Master of Science in Business Analytics, Online Master of Science in Marketing, Online Master of Science in Finance, and Online Master of Accounting — as well as online graduate certificate programs. Join our network of success and engage with top-tier faculty using our innovative, easy-to-use digital learning platform. New classes start in fall, spring, and summer.

William & Mary School of Education

The school of education offers a number of online and hybrid degree programs, allowing working professionals to attain graduate degrees in education and counseling while continuing to work full-time and without relocating to Williamsburg. In educational leadership, the school offers a hybrid master's degree in K-12 leadership as well as an Executive Ed.D. in Educational Policy, Planning and Leadership with concentrations in gifted administration, higher education administration, international school leadership and K-12 administration. Finally, the Online Master of Education in Counseling offers concentrations in clinical mental health counseling, school counseling, and military and veterans counseling.

William & Mary Law School's Military & Veteran's Health Certificate

Faculty of the Law School’s Lewis B. Puller, Jr. Veterans Benefits Clinic offer a self-paced, fully online program geared toward veterans, attorneys, veteran service officers, transitional personnel, family members and caregivers. Successful completion of the program will lead to a non-degree Certificate in Military and Veterans Health, Policy and Advocacy (MVHPA). Several sessions are offered throughout the year.
