IIC Student Leadership Council

The IIC Student Leadership Council exists to raise awareness for the biodiversity and climate crisis, while acting as stewards and student ambassadors of the IIC. The SLC aims to engage students in conservation efforts locally and internationally, while promoting equitable social systems and sustainable practices that enhance human health and wellbeing.

SLC members act as student ambassadors for the IIC, and consult with IIC faculty and staff on student engagement , programs, and events.

The Council meets on a regular basis and hosts at least one event each semester. Students are encouraged to reach out to the SLC to get involved in IIC student activities.
