Airport Shuttle Service
Parking & Transportation operates van shuttle service to and from Richmond International (RIC) and Newport News/Williamsburg International (PHF) for scheduled breaks in the academic year. For trips with high passenger counts, we work with our partners Oleta and James River Transportation to organize charter bus service.
Departures & Returns
All airport shuttles depart and return to Sadler Terrace. Pickup locations at Richmond Int'l and Newport News Int'l will be outlined in your confirmation email. Standard departure and return times are below, however, some trips may differ from the standard times. Check the schedule for trip times for each break. Dates without specified times will follow the standard times.

Signups
Electronic forms to request a shuttle or reserve a seat are posted below when they become available. If you need to exit the form before it's complete, your progress will be saved, however, incomplete forms will be automatically deleted after one week. If this happens, the form will have to be started again from the beginning. When the survey closes at the time listed, incomplete forms will not be honored.

Pricing & Payment
The cost for a seat on the shuttle is $50 each way. Student Assembly will cost share $25 off for a limited number of riders per break (see the table above). When the limit is reached, riders will be charged the full amount of $50 per shuttle seat.
After a reservation is confirmed, payment is required before date of travel. The default payment method is William & Mary Express. Please have sufficient funds in your Express account by the date online requests close (see table above). If you would prefer to pay via another method, please visit the Parking & Transportation office before your travel date.
Cancellations & No-shows
Cancellations after final confirmation emails from the transportation coordinator and no-shows are non-refundable and billable to the traveler at the full amount of $50. In the event of flight cancellations or delays we will work diligently to accommodate passengers on other scheduled shuttles or facilitate other ground transportation options.

Students departing and returning campus at times when William & Mary airport shuttles are not available should contact one of the university's contracted charter services. Advance reservations are required.

Virginia Amtrak
Virginia Student Discount - Students age 13-25 with valid student ID are eligible for 25% off regular adult rail fare when traveling within Virginia and DC. Valid on Northeast Regional. Must be purchased at least one day in advance.
National Student Discount - Students age 17-24 with valid student ID are eligible for 15% off regular adult rail fare. Valid on select Amtrak services. Must be purchased at least one day in advance.
Greyhound
Students can get 10% off Greyhound travel and 15% off shipping with the Student Advantage Discount Card.
Both Amtrak and Greyhound depart and arrive at the Williamsburg Transportation Center.
Northern Virginia Shuttles
Oleta provides a shuttle service between Kaplan Arena and the Springfield-Franconia Metro Station during school scheduled breaks. For a complete details and to make a reservation, visit Oleta directly.
