We look forward to welcoming you to campus this fall! In accordance with public health guidelines, William & Mary may make decisions regarding the fall semester that require alterations to the new student move-in and orientation program. Look for updates via email and on our website so new students and families can adequately prepare for this exciting transition.
The Tribe Guide is your one-stop online source for information about what you need to do before you arrive in Williamsburg this fall. From advising and registration to housing and meal plans, the Tribe Guide is here to help you make a smooth transition to college life.
Have you activated your account? If not, activate your W&M Username now. You will need to create a secure, personalized password. You will also need to enroll a secondary device (like a cell phone) in Duo Two-Factor Authentication to access most W&M systems.
After you pay your enrollment deposit (allow 2-3 business days for processing), you will be able to access your Outlook email account (powered by Microsoft 365) via the Outlook icon on myW&M. The standard format for student email addresses is email@example.com. Make sure to check it frequently for important updates.
We require all incoming students to own a notebook computer. A laptop makes it easier for you to stay connected with classmates, professors and administrators - no matter where you might be on campus. Make sure your device meets the minimum requirements.
You'll also use myW&M to access a variety of core services such as financial aid awards, class registration and your G Suite email. Go ahead and visit myW&M to take a look around.
