New Students Arriving Spring 2022

Congratulations on your decision to attend William & Mary! We are excited to welcome you and to help you make the most of your time at the university. 

Your Tribe Guide goes live on Monday, November 1 at 2:00 PM (ET). Until then, make a note that your required New Student Orientation is tentatively slated for Friday, January 21 - Tuesday, January 25. The first day of fall classes immediately follows on Wednesday, January 26.

Here's a sneak peek of things to do once you deposit ...
Activate Your Account

Have you activated your account? If not, activate your W&M Username now. You will need to create a secure, personalized password. You will also need to enroll a secondary device (like a cell phone) in Duo Two-Factor Authentication to access most W&M systems.

Set Up Your Email

After you pay your enrollment deposit (allow 24-48 hours for processing), you will be able to access your G Suite email account (powered by Google) via the Gmail icon on myW&M. The standard format for student email addresses is Make sure to check it frequently for important updates.

Explore myW&M

You'll also use myW&M to access a variety of core services such as financial aid awards, class registration and your G Suite email. Go ahead and visit myW&M to take a look around.
