About Hannah

I am a rising junior in the joint degree program with the College of William & Mary and the University of St Andrews studying International Relations. I am originally from London, but I grew up in the Bahamas! In my free time, I like running through Colonial Williamsburg and reading psychological thriller novels. In terms of extra curriculars at William & Mary, I am the secretary of Best Buddies, the service chair of the on-campus honors fraternity Phi Sigma Pi and, during my junior year, I will be participating in the Sharp Journalism Seminar hosted by the Charles Center.

Favorite Spot on Campus

I really enjoy doing homework and hanging out on the third floor of the newly constructed extension of Sadler called The Slice. It has a beautiful view of the Wellness Center and the forest behind it. I also like the floor-to-ceiling windows that let in a lot of natural light as I am studying.

Advice to New Students

Adapting to the William & Mary tight-knit community can seem daunting at first for a new international student, but I would encourage them to get involved in one of the many on-campus extracurricular activities that the college offers.
