About Josie

Hi! My name is Josie Summers, and I am a rising Junior. I am double-majoring in English & Linguistics! On campus I am involved with the W&M Choir, Intonations Acapella, Admissions as a Griffin Ambassador, and Residence Life as a Resident Assistant for freshmen. In my free time, I like to sing, read, travel, and learn languages (German, Italian, & Egyptian hieroglyphics)! 

Favorite Spot on Campus

Sadler Terrace! The tables under the string lights outside next to Sadler are my favorite place on campus because that is where you see everyone you know during the day! W&M students love hanging out there with friends, doing work, or sharing a meal.

Advice to New Students

Balance! Get involved to get connected to communities, but don’t overload yourself. Prioritize your mental & physical health, then your academics, then everything else.
