It also provides a tranquil escape from the daily hustle. Whether it’s for studying, gathering with friends, or simply finding solace in nature, the Sunken Garden offers a peaceful retreat that rejuvenates my mind and spirit.

Advice for New Students

As a peer leader, my advice to new international students would be to actively participate in orientation programs and engage with student organizations that cater to international students. This will help you build a supportive network, gain insights from experienced peers, and navigate any challenges that may arise during your transition to a new academic and cultural environment, ultimately enhancing your overall college experience.
