University Operations
The Chief Operating Officer (COO) oversees University Operations, which supports the day-to-day management of services required to meet the university’s mission. The COO is responsible for transacting business on behalf of the university and provides leadership and direction with respect to the university’s strategic positioning. The COO partners with senior leaders to shepherd the use of the university’s human, financial, physical and technological resources.
The COO serves as member of the president’s executive leadership team and Cabinet, participates in university-wide strategic planning and is responsible jointly with the provost for the university’s budget.
