Mission & Purpose
Business Affairs, led by the Chief Business Officer, oversees a dedicated team of over 480 employees across six offices. Our mission is to ensure the smooth functioning of the physical campus and its myriad goods and services supporting the university's academic mission. Our staff members collaborate closely with faculty and university administration to address campus needs with integrity, innovation and purpose.
We take pride in managing the infrastructure and resources that support the academic and extracurricular endeavors of the university community — integrating sustainable solutions with our rich historical heritage.

Protecting the campus community through safety programs, regulatory compliance, and environmental stewardship initiatives.
Facilities Operations
Maintaining, repairing and operating the physical infrastructure and historic grounds of the William & Mary campus.
Supply Chain Services
Procurement, contracting and logistics ensuring the efficient and compliant delivery of goods and services across campus.
University Architect
Planning, design and construction of high-quality campus facilities using integrated, sustainable and cost-effective approaches.
Special Projects
Campus comprehensive plan, strategic planning, administrative oversight and special projects across the division, led by the Chief of Staff.
