SDG 12: Sustainability in Consumption and Production
During the Spring 2023 semester, S.U.S.T.A.I.N. will be focused on promoting the twelfth United Nations Sustainable Development Goal. Goal 12 is focused on breaking unsustainable patterns of consumption and production, specifically in food waste, e-waste, and exploitation of natural resources. Goal 12 aims to lift the burden of unsustainable practices on environmental and human health, especially in more heavily impacted communities. Throughout the semester, S.U.S.T.A.I.N will work with a variety of groups in the campus community to help create a broader understanding of how the ideas outlined in goal twelve are essential to building a more sustainable world.
