Taste of Soul

Description: Join the Center for Student Diversity, the African Cultural Society, and Black Student Organization as we celebrate the start of Black History Month with “A Taste of Soul”, an exploration and taste of food from the African, Caribbean, and African-American diaspora.
Social Justice by Faith Trip: Baltimore, MD

Description: Take a field trip to Baltimore to visit the National Great Blacks in Wax Museum featuring prominent African-American and other Black historical figures. Stop two will include lunch and the Reginald F. Lewis Museum of Maryland African American History & Culture.
Black Expo

Description: The Black Student Organization (BS0), E.S.S.E.N.C.E. Women of Color, and the Center for Student Diversity will host the 4th annual Black Expo featuring Black business owners who engage in everything from leadership and development, to art, pottery, apparel, and more.
Brown Table Talk

Description: Do flashing lights make you anxious or fearful? Unfortunately, due to the national climate, this is true for many people. Knowing your rights can help you identify situations of discrimination and the abuse of power. Facilitated by Officer Isaiah Johnson of the W&M Police Department.

Sankofa Gala
