Voices

Voices is a weekly professional development series focused on considering the future of the American university.

The purpose is three-fold:

  • to gain greater insight into what various W&M stakeholders predict will be the role of the American public university in the next few decades;
  • to bring together faculty, staff, students and community to discuss a topic of shared interest;
  • to develop more understanding of the complexity of each our roles in the university setting (professor, administrator, student, alumni, etc) in an environment of shared intellectual endeavor.

Each week 15 faculty, administrators, staff and students gather to consider the guiding question along with related questions. Everyone is welcome to attend but advance sign up is required and slots fill quickly. To register contact Krista Schroth at klschroth@email.wm.edu
