Exploring Traditional Indigenous Knowledge Related to Emergency Management and Climate Adaptation
Biography

Grace’s passion for conservation began through long hours spent outside, connecting to and learning about the world. Since then, she has also discovered her passion for cultures and people and combines these interests through her studies at W&M and her participation in the IIC Conservation Research Program.

Her life goal is to learn how to best incorporate indigenous peoples into conservation conversations. She hopes to bring her learning about indigenous led conservation and ethnography to the table as well as her passion for conservation goals that include all people.
