Full Description
The IIC seeks proposals from conservation partners and W&M faculty/staff for applied, student-led research projects that advance integrative solutions to biodiversity conservation challenges.
Selected projects will be co-designed with conservation partners and conducted by W&M undergraduate students over a full calendar year, beginning in January 2025 and ending in December 2025.
With support from the IIC, the students will design and implement the research with faculty mentorship and in close collaboration with mentors from the conservation partner organizations. Through these partnerships, we aim to (1) support conservation partners with research needed to advance conservation solutions and (2) nurture the next generation of conservation leaders.
