Contractor Safety
William & Mary contracts for many tasks on campus to include construction, repair, service, and preventive maintenance activities. It is essential that our contractors perform to our high expectations for health, safety, and environmental stewardship. In general, contractor employees are required to observe the same EH&S precautions as university employees. Additionally, specific procedures or requirements may apply to particular contracts in the performance of their tasks. The Safety Guide for Contractors and Subcontractors (doc) describes how these expectations are integrated into the procurement and management of contractor activities.
