Over winter break, 14 students and two Biology faculty explored human-wildlife conflicts in the Anthropocene on a six-day camping trip at 10 sites throughout Florida. Students provided field lectures at each site and led discussions of assigned papers while driving among sites. A favorite of everyone was the exquisite views of native and invasive flora and fauna, the camaraderie, and the excellent meals cooked and eaten in atypically cold weather.
