2013 Undergraduate Research Science Symposium and Graduate Research Symposium Picture Gallery

In February, undergraduate students from around campus who had conducted research in the past year presented posters and gave talks at the 19th Annual Science Symposium. This year, eight Psychology students and five Neuroscience students who work with Psychology faculty members showcased their work at this event.

More recently, graduate students from the East coast gathered to present their research at William & Mary at the 12th Annual Graduate Research Symposium (GRS) held at the Sadler Center in March. This event encouraged interdisciplinary exchange for graduate students from the sciences and the humanities. This year three students from the Psychology Department presented talks and seven presented posters. Additionally two of students received awards: Kristin Zajo (advisor: Josh Burk) received the Award for Excellence in Mentoring for the Humanities and Social Sciences, and Patrick Hammett (co-advisors: Cheryl Dickter and Catherine Forestell) received the Carl Strikwerda  Award for Excellence in the Humanities and Social Sciences.

In this photo gallery, we highlight the impressive research achievements of our undergraduate and graduate students. These projects were made possible, in part, with the financial support from alumni such as yourselves. We very much appreciate all you do to support our students.
