Minoring in Kinesiology

A minor in Kinesiology is 21 credits which consists of two required courses plus 15 additional credits from the list of courses. This gives you a great deal of flexibility for choosing courses that meet your goals and interests.

A minor in Kinesiology may be of particular interest if you are considering a health profession, but wish to pursue a different major. However, taking the courses that lead to a minor will give you a solid understanding of the workings of the human body and the factors important for good health. This knowledge is a life-long benefit to anyone, regardless of major.

A minor in Public Health is another option. This is an interdisciplinary program offered through the Charles Center. If you are interested in this minor, Alison Scott and Sarah Menefee can answer your questions.
