About Maria

Maria is excited to join the Global Education Office at William & Mary. Maria manages most of W&M’s semester study abroad programs including exchange programs as well as advising students on study abroad opportunities. Additionally, Maria oversees and supervises the Peer Advisors in the office. She serves as a second contact for visiting international students and supports transfer credit processing. 

Before she joined William & Mary, Maria was a Global Learning Advisor at her undergraduate alma mater, the University of Dayton in Ohio. She also holds a Master's degree in International Business from the University of Florida in Gainesville, and her hometown is Pittsburgh, PA. During her time at the University of Dayton she studied abroad in Russia, from where she was adopted. Some of her other international experiences include an orchestra tour in Belgium, the Netherlands and England. In her free time, she enjoys playing tennis, reading in her book club, or playing with her cat, Willow.
