History with the OCE

I initially formed a relationship with the OCE my sophomore year volunteering at the Community Garden through out the spring! My junior year as a team leader at the garden was extraordinary, with great teams both semesters. I look forward to what this final year will bring at the Garden!

What excites you about being a WE team leader?

I look forward to leading a team of my peers at the Community Garden this upcoming year! After leading my own team at the Garden this past year, I am delighted to return to the site and continue to extend this opportunity and experience to the rest of the team! Volunteering at the garden has drawn me closer to the greater Williamsburg community and has deepened my understanding of the importance of food sustainability; something of which I hope to continue to share with my peers throughout our semesters together!
