History with the OCE

I first got involved with the OCE my sophomore year volunteering at the House of Mercy. I loved it so much I continued volunteering there for the next year and a half until I became the team leader at the ReStore last semester.

What excites you about being a WE team leader?

Being involved with the OCE has been one of the most rewarding and formative experiences of my time here at William and Mary. It has reignited my passion for community service while opening my eyes to the importance of being an active citizen. This year, I am beyond excited to engage with Dream Catchers and help cultivate a relationship with a new community partner. I hope to continue learning more about service and community engagement while inspiring more students to look outside campus and engage with the wider Williamsburg community that exists beyond William & Mary.
