About
Jennifer Swenson, Associate Professor of Data Science earned her Ph.D. in Forest Science from Oregon State University. Before coming to William and Mary, she was Professor of the Practice of Geospatial Analysis in the Nicholas School of Environment at Duke University. Prior to that she worked at federal agencies and domestic and international NGOs in geospatial analysis. Dr. Swenson's research focuses on climate and land cover change and the effects on biodiversity using the tools of geospatial analysis and remotely-sensed Earth observations. She will teach remote sensing and geospatial analysis.
