About
Shinji Shimoura, Assistant Teaching Professor of Modern Languages and Literature, Japanese Studies, earned his M.A. in Linguistics and TESOL at the University of South Florida and an MS in Geography at Florida State University. He specializes in Japanese language pedagogy, with a particular focus on how learners’ individual differences influence their second language acquisition. He will be teaching Japanese language courses at W&M.
