Archana Kaku, Assistant Professor of Government, earned her Ph.D. in Political Science from the University of Pennsylvania. Professor Kaku’s research focuses on Political Theory, Comparative Politics, and Postcolonial Theory. Since finishing her Ph.D., Professor Kaku has been the Consortium for Faculty Diversity Postdoctoral Fellow at Muhlenberg College. Professor Kaku begins a tenure-eligible position at William & Mary, where she will teach Introduction to Political Theory as well as courses in her areas of expertise--decolonial theory, gender, and queer theory, and biopolitics.
