Geneva Cole, Postdoctoral Fellow, earned her Ph.D. in Political Science from the University of Chicago in Summer 2023, and will join the Government Department from 2023 to 2025.  Her research interests examine the intersection of political behavior, identity, and race, with a methodological focus on survey design and qualitative interviewing. Cole focuses on understanding social and political identities and how they shape political behavior and support for racial inclusion. As the first Government Department Postdoctoral Fellow in Race and Politics, Professor Cole will teach a class this Fall on “Race and Criminal Justice.”
