Meal Plans
Eat what you want, when you want, where you want.
You’ve got enough to focus on around campus: classes, studying, work and extracurricular activities. You shouldn't have to plan meal prep as well. Having a meal plan lets you grab a meal with your friends when you want it and where you want it.
We have meal plans that fit into your schedule and provide an assortment of high quality choices, with all the types of food you like. Short on cash? No worries, your meals are prepaid. Want something healthy? You’ve got it. Want to satisfy your sweet tooth? We can help with that too. So whether you’re looking to fill up or just hang out, we’ve got you covered.
W&M Dining offers two types of dining experiences - residential dining which offers all access meal options, and retail dining where students can create either a Griffin Deal or use their Dining Dollars. Griffin Deals at select retail locations include an entree, sides and a drink in one bundled transaction.

Eligible students may make ONE change to their meal plan selection before add/drop. Used meal swipes and Dining Dollars will be deducted from the updated meal plan. Additional changes will be assessed a $25 processing fee.
Changes beyond what is allowed by social class are rare and must be approved by the Meal Plan Petition Committee after the submission of a completed Meal Plan Petition. Petitions approved after add/drop will result in financial adjustments based on a daily meal rate from when the petition was approved.
Need to make an allowable meal plan adjustment after the add/drop period? Email [[dining,dining@wm.edu]]. Refunds and charges will be calculated on a daily meal plan rate as of the date the request was made. A $25 processing fee will also be assessed.
*Campus-managed apartments are defined as Ludwell, Tribe Square, Cabell and Nicholas apartments and the Grad Complex.
