Spring 2021 Update
Fall residential students who will be remote learning or not attending W&M for the spring semester may cancel their meal plan once a Housing Release Request is processed. Meal plans may be removed by visiting mealplan.wm.edu. Student Accounts could take up to 3 business days to be updated.
If the request is approved after February 5, email email@example.com to remove your meal plan. Refunds are based on the date of request.
Dining To-Go Program
Given the current health condition, the W&M Public Health Advisory Team has recommended that W&M Dining operate solely as a to-go program. If William & Mary keeps positivity rates reasonable, limited indoor seating will return with the start of in-person undergraduate classes on February 10th.
In line with the existing to-go program, students dining from residential dining facilities will receive to-go boxes as they swipe into the facility and will continue to customize their meals from the available stations.
Food will be served into containers by dining staff with appropriate PPE or pre-packaged. Individual soup and dessert containers will also be available. Additionally, staff in Marketplace and all retail dining locations on campus will serve food in packaging to allow meals to be taken to-go. No seating will be available in dining locations.
Daily menus are available for review in the BiteU app that can be downloaded from the App Store or Google Play. To help ensure quick selection and to reduce wait times, it is encouraged that students review the options prior to arriving at the facility. Students may also use the BiteU app for mobile-ordering at Marketplace, Cosi, Qdoba and Sadler Express.
Meal plans remain a required element of living on campus for undergraduate students. Students may make eligible changes to their meal plan by visiting mealplan.wm.edu before February 5. Fall meal plan selections automatically rolled to the spring semester. Undergraduate students enrolled in campus-managed housing for the first time this academic year, may now select an eligible meal plan at mealplan.wm.edu

Yes, containers are microwavable.
Can students bring their own containers to dining locations?
For health and safety purposes, students are not permitted to bring their own to-go containers for food or beverages.
Will additional trash/recycling receptacles be placed around campus? Will trash pick-up be increased?

Students may also use Dining Dollars at residential dining locations for a $8 door rate.
