W&M Board of Visitors to meet virtually Aug. 3
In accordance with Va. Code § 2.2-3708.2, the William & Mary Board of Visitors will meet by electronic communication means on Monday, August 3, from 1:00-4:00 p.m. Eastern Time to have a conversation with Christy Coleman, Executive Director of the Jamestown Yorktown Foundation, and to receive an update from the Principles of Naming and Renaming Working Group. The Board also intends to review changes to the Board Bylaws. The meeting will be held in accordance with Item 4-0.01.g of the 2020 Appropriation Act, which provides governing boards with the ability to hold meetings electronically without a quorum present while the Commonwealth is under a State of Emergency.
