Water main break

Dear William & Mary Community -

Thanks to the hard work of our facilities management personnel and our contractor - Branscome, the repair of the water main break near the parking deck is completed. Water service is back on in all buildings. Please be aware that the water may be a little cloudy until the lines are thoroughly flushed and back to normal. Ukrop Way is reopened to vehicular traffic.

Know this was an inconvenience, appreciate everyone’s patience.

Dear William & Mary Community -

There was a water main break this morning in the vicinity of the parking deck. The following buildings are currently without water and do not have functioning restroom facilities:

- the police/parking/garage

- Swem Library

- Adair Hall

- Jones Hall

- Small Hall

- Morton Hall

Repair work is underway. During this time, Ukrop Way between Landrum Dr. and the parking deck will be closed to vehicular traffic. The parking deck will remain open and will be accessible from Jamestown Rd.

We do not yet have a time estimate on the repairs, but will update you as soon as we know more.
