W&M Board of Visitors to meet Sept. 13-15
The William & Mary Board of Visitors will meet in Williamsburg on Sept. 13-15, 2017.
Committee meetings will begin at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 13, 2017, in the Board Room on the third floor of Blow Memorial Hall, located at 262 Richmond Rd. The meetings are scheduled to conclude by 5:30 p.m. The Board will then attend a reception at the Muscarelle Museum of Art, located at 603 Jamestown Rd., followed by dinner at 7 p.m. at the Plumeri House, located at 119 Chandler Ct.
On Thursday, Sept. 14, the meetings will resume at 7:45 a.m. in Blow Hall and recess by approximately 11:15 a.m. The Board will then travel to Kaplan Arena, located at 751 Ukrop Way, for a tour, followed by lunch in the Person Room and a meeting at 1:15 p.m. in Room 221 of Kaplan with the Committee on Athletics. The Board will then return to Blow Hall and resume committee meetings at 2:10 p.m. The meetings should conclude by 5 p.m. The Board will then attend a ceremony honoring new members at 5:45 p.m. in the Blue Room of the Sir Christopher Wren Building, located at 111 Jamestown Rd. The ceremony will be followed by a board reception and dinner beginning at 6:30 p.m. in the Great Hall of the Wren.
On Friday, Sept. 15, meetings will resume at 8 a.m. in Blow Hall and should conclude at approximately 12 p.m. The Board will then have lunch at 12:30 p.m. in Blow Hall Room 201 with members of the Presidential Search Committee.
All times are approximate, and the Board reserves the right to adjust its schedule as necessary. The meetings are open to the public, but there will be no opportunity for public comment.
