President Reveley statement on Walter Segaloff
The following is a statement from William & Mary President Taylor Reveley on the Aug. 18, 2013 passing of Walter Segaloff, founder of An Achievable Dream. -Ed
“The death of Walter Segaloff is sad news for William & Mary,” said President Taylor Reveley. “He was a longtime friend of the College and his partnership with us grew even stronger during the past three years through the Run for the Dream race. As the creator and driving force behind An Achievable Dream, Walter did enormous good in Hampton Roads. Walter made clear the vital importance of bringing a good education within reach for all children, not just those from affluent families.”
