Lauren Payne

My name is Lauren from Alexandria, VA (NOVA) and I'm a Senior majoring in Accounting at the College. As a WMSURE recipient I'm very excited to give back to the program by devoting my time to being a student fellow. While on campus I have participated in over a year of summer research funded by WMSURE and am also involved in various clubs/programs on campus. I'm currently a marketing assistant at the Cohen Career Center and I'd be happy to help you all take advantage of their resources. I'm a member of BSO and ESSENCE which are great clubs that have added to my community here. Lastly, I co-direct the Brown Table Talk program which is an initiative at the Center for Student Diversity (CSD) for Black and Brown women on campus. My main take away would be to join whatever resonates with you to really make the most of your college experience!
