William & Mary Scholars Undergraduate Research Experience (WMSURE) supports all students at William & Mary, with a special focus on W&M Scholars, first-generation students, and Pell-eligible students. Through committed peer and faculty mentorship, enrichment workshops and events, and applied learning opportunities, WMSURE empowers students with the tools and confidence to excel academically and engage in meaningful undergraduate research. 

WMSURE 

• Developed based on the self-identified needs of WMSURE scholars to provide guidance throughout the college experience.
• Provides support for all undergraduates who want to conduct research.
• Facilitates peer and faculty mentorship for student participants.
• Establishes a large network of faculty and staff to support WMSURE students across the university.
• Provides workshops that help scholars achieve their highest potential.
• Creates a scholarly community that focuses on holistic academic well-being.
