Sociology Professor Kathleen Slevin is the 2010 recipient of the Thomas Ashley Graves, Jr. Award. This award, named in honor of former President Graves, is one of the highest honors given at the College and it recognizes sustained excellence in teaching. Professor Slevin is frequently lauded by students as an exceptional teacher and her contributions to all aspects of the teaching mission at the College have been immense. Professor Slevin will officially receive the award at the 2010 Commencement ceremony.
