Aleksandra (Sasha) Orlova, earned her M.A. in Teaching Russian as a Foreign Language at Saint Petersburg State University. Previously she taught Russian for foreigners at Herzen State Pedagogical University of Russia and at the Russian Language Center in Singapore. Also, she worked as an International Fellow at W&M in 2019. Sasha’s research focuses on a comparison of cultural peculiarities of Russian and students’ native languages, development and usage of Russian children’s literature in teaching methods and in practice.
