Graduate Program
The Mathematics Department does not offer a formal graduate curriculum. Rather, it supports the mathematics component of graduate study housed in several closely related departments.
- Computational Operations Research Master's Program
William & Mary offers a M.S. in Computational Operations Research (COR), pending final approval from the State Council on Higher Education in Virginia, hosted by the Computational & Applied Mathematics and Statistics (CAMS) program in cooperation with the Department of Mathematics. With proper planning, a W&M undergraduate can complete the Accelerated Bachelor’s-to-Master’s Program for W&M Undergraduate Students (4+1) Degree in one year. - Applied Science Doctoral Program
Graduate Students can pursue Ph.D. Studies through the Applied Science Department, with supervision by a member of the Mathematics Department. Typically, these students enter the program with a Master's Degree already completed, either in the College's Computational Operations Research program or at another university.
