Biography
Morgan is a PhD candidate in American Studies at William & Mary. He holds an MA in Art History and a BA in Political Science, both from the University of Iowa. His work is situated within the intersection of visual culture studies and the environmental humanities, and his dissertation project is currently titled "Pipelines: New Studies at the Edges of American Art and Petroleum." Morgan's writing has appeared in Panorama, Sequitur, and H-Environment. His work has been supported by the Newberry Library Consortium, Gilcrease Museum, and a Davidson Family Fellowship at the Amon Carter Museum of American Art.
