Leadership Gallery

Public Exhibition Space

Max Capacity: 80
Possible Room Sets: Standing room, reception, banquet (< 20 people only)

Summary

The Leadership Gallery is located on the 2nd floor of the Sir Christopher Wren Building. It is most often used as an overflow location for events happening in the Great Hall or Chapel.

The gallery exhibits portraits of university leaders and other individuals who impacted W&M over more than three centuries: historical and living presidents, chancellors and other selected individuals. Future plans include a standing kiosk to provide a digital gallery and context for portraits of William & Mary’s 28 presidents and 24 chancellors — many more than can be presented in a single space.

The revolving exhibit, which is updated and re-curated every few years, is managed by William & Mary Libraries, in conjunction with the President’s Office and the Muscarelle Museum of Art.

The Leadership Gallery is not accessible by wheelchair.
