Classrooms are going green.

Greening academics at William and Mary is very important to students, faculty and staff alike. New initiatives are constantly being created to reduce W&M's environmental footprint, like eliminating cover sheets in the SWEM library or encouraging students to use the Green Team bicycle at VIMS rather than make trips in their cars. Students at the Mason School of Business enjoy learning in a LEED Gold certified building, complete with a system for capturing rainwater in an underground cistern. Undergraduate Arts and Sciences students participate in a wide variety of environmentally focused research for academic credit.
