Trish Martinelli is the Executive Director of the Defense Entrepreneurs Forum, a nonprofit that develops partnerships to promote innovation in national security. Trish is also the Strategic Business Development Executive for Eccalon consulting and the Chief Executive Officer and Founder of The Difference LLC. Trish is an OIF/OEF Veteran, serving 21-years in Army military intelligence. She serves as a Board member of the Federal Innovators Salon and holds a Master of Business Science from the University of Maryland, and professional certifications in Terrorism Analysis, Culture Facilitation, and Design Thinking. She is a disruptor and optimist working on challenges from National Security, to gender equity, and anti-racism.
Trish Martinelli served in the US Army for 21 years and has supported the Defense Department for 30. She was an instrumental part of the Department’s rapid acquisition pivot while serving as the Deputy Director for Strategy at JIEDDO. Trish a TEDx speaker, a Regional Director at NSIN, Executive Director of the Defense Entrepreneurs Forum, a culture facilitator, and Design Thinker.
Trish offers a unique perspective having served in uniform, as a civilian at the Pentagon, a business owner, a non-profit leader, and an advocate for entrepreneurs, innovators, and intrapreneurs dedicated to national security. She brings her unique vantage point to the whole of the community and is a leader on the move.
