Jonathan Ward

Jonathan Ward is an international affairs, trade, and investment leader with extensive experience in diplomacy, government and public affairs, trade policy, market access, investment attraction, and supply chain and logistics planning and execution. He also has expertise in U.S. national security policy formulation and military leadership.

Jon is a retired Foreign Service Officer with the U.S. Departments of State and Commerce. He served in Saudi Arabia, Papua New Guinea, Iraq, Pakistan, India, and Brazil, and in Washington, DC on detail to the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative and as a foreign policy advisor to the Joint Chiefs of Staff. More recently, Jon held leadership roles in sub-national diplomacy in Miami-Dade County and the State of New Jersey where he engaged directly with numerous NATO member governments. Jon co-founded the World Affairs Council of Miami and currently consults with several U.S. and foreign companies.

Before joining the Foreign Service, Jon was a supply chain executive and served as a field artillery officer and Ordnance company commander in the U.S. Army. He is a combat veteran of Operation Desert Storm and holds J.D., M.B.A., and B.S. degrees from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
