About Kate

Kate joined the Tribe Sports Medicine staff in July 2018 as a Graduate Assistant while completing her master's degree at Old Dominion University and became full time in August 2020 through a partnership with VCU Health Sports Medicine. During her time as a GA, Kate worked with the Tribe football, baseball, and men’s tennis teams. Prior to William & Mary, Kate spent the 2017-2018 school year at Binghamton University as an intern with the Bearcat’s softball and track & field teams. She also served as the head athletic trainer at Seneca High School in Louisville, Kentucky from 2016 to 2017.

Kate works primarily with the Tribe football, and both men’s and women’s tennis teams. She implements manual therapy techniques, dry needling, and functional rehabilitation programs into healthcare plans for student athletes.

Originally from South Burlington, Vermont, Kate now resides in Williamsburg. In her spare time, she enjoys running, golfing, and spending time with friends and family.
