Biography

The HR Business Partner is a champion to people initiatives at W&M and drives HR excellence. This pivotal role blends strategic planning with hands-on execution. Business Partners shape HR practices in support of business goals, nurture talent, and enhance employee satisfaction.

Anne-Lise joined W&M UHR in 2023. Prior to joining the university, she worked for over a decade as an independent HR consultant for small and midsize businesses across the country. She is an experienced speaker, and established practitioner, advocating for progressive HR practices.
Anne-Lise is a Subject Matter Expert with the HR Certification Institute (HRCI) where she has served in many different capacities since 2010.
