It's About Entrepreneurial Thinking

The Entrepreneurship Hub exists to educate, inspire and support students in developing the skills and mindset of an entrepreneur. We view entrepreneurship through the wider lens of entrepreneurial thinking — a highly versatile set of skills and a mindset that is necessary to solve wicked problems.

  • Opportunity Discovery

Spot opportunities where others do not.

  • Failing Wisely

Risk what you can afford to lose and make certain that learning is a primary goal.

  • Improvisation

Put something out into the world and adjust course as necessary.

  • Collaboration

Pull in complementary perspectives and skills.

  • Openness to Risk

Turn towards opportunity rather than away even when there is a risk of failure.

  • Tolerance for Ambiguity

Resist the urge to try to predict the future and, instead, let the best plan emerge.

  • Grit

Sustained perseverance in the face of challenges.

  • Self-direction

    Have a bias towards action.

Entrepreneurship is for Everyone

Think entrepreneurship is just for the business buffs or startup savants? Think again! Our Hub is for poets and programmers, historians and hackers, dreamers and doers alike. You don't need a business plan or even an idea to dive in. All you need is a spark of curiosity. So, whether you're from the arts, sciences, or just wandering the realms of possibility, the Hub is your space to explore, learn, and grow. Everyone's welcome!
