The Volp Council

The Volp Council is a forum for dialogue related to student success, student well-being, and campus climate to occur between the Dean of Students Office and the student community. The Volp Council will meet once a month throughout the academic year, and is comprised of a standing body of student leaders, the Dean of Students, and affiliated student affairs faculty/staff. This council will provide the student body opportunities to provide feedback directly to the Dean of Students herself as well as to the Dean of Students Office, as a whole, and will allow students to increase their awareness about resources, supports, and services that are available through the Dean of Students Office, the Student Success Thematic Unit, and the University. The Volp Council will consist of student representatives from a wide variety of organizations across campus who are invited by invitation.

This council is named after Patricia M. Volp, William & Mary’s former Dean of Students, who exhibited unparalleled leadership and commitment to student success while at William & Mary.

If you have any questions, please contact the Dean of Students Office, at [[deanofstudents]] or 757-221-2510.
