331st Charter Day Special Event Parking
Full Description
Charter Day is upon us and there will be a variety of special events supporting our BOV and other groups visiting campus this week. The main ceremony event will take place Friday the 9th at 4 PM in the Kaplan Arena.
We recommend that you allow extra time to move around campus during these times and thank you for your patience as we welcome our visitors to campus.
There are no planned road closures associated with these events, on Friday afternoon Brooks St from Ukrop Way to Compton Ave after 2:00 pm will be restricted to event guests with passes, as well as ADA & Limited Mobility drop offs only.
- ADA Access will be at Brook St and Ukrop Way with drop off at the back ramp to the Arena, ADA parking will be allocated along Brooks St from 2:00- 5:00 pm, doors open at 3:00 pm

CHARTER DAY TRAFFIC & PARKING PARAMETERS
- Vehicle traffic at Compton & Monticello will not be restricted
- The lower Kaplan Arena lot is available for general guest parking
- Compton from Brooks to Ukrop will be under moderated traffic control, only buses and event guests will be allowed to pass. Attendants will be onsite to move barricades and direct guests to spaces.
- Brooks St will be restricted from Ukrop Way to Compton – Only ADA, State Dignitaries and Platform personnel will be allowed through
- Compton Lot will be cleared at 1:00 pm and is designated VIP parking w/Passes
