Directly behind the historic Christopher Wren building is the beautifully landscaped Sunken Garden and Crim Dell meadow. Based on the design for the Chelsea Gardens in London, the Sunken Garden has been a favorite spot for generations of students to relax in the sun between classes, or to play spirited games of football or frisbee.

If you're looking for a quiet spot to do some reading during your visit, or if your group wishes to hold a memorable picnic, reception or special event, be sure to make arrangements.
