W&M Board of Visitors to meet April 19-21
The William & Mary Board of Visitors will meet in Williamsburg on April 19-21, 2017.
Committee meetings will begin at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 19, 2017, in the Board Room and Board Conference Room on the third floor of Blow Memorial Hall, located at 262 Richmond Road. The meetings are scheduled to conclude by 6:30 p.m. The Board will then attend a dinner at 6:45 p.m. at the Plumeri House, located at 119 Chandler Ct.
On Thursday, April 20, the meetings will resume at 7:45 a.m. in Blow Hall and recess by approximately Noon. The Board will have lunch with students and faculty involved in community engagement before resuming meetings at 2:00 p.m. The meetings should conclude by 4:45 p.m. The Board will then attend a faculty reception and picnic dinner in the Wren Portico & Wren Courtyard, located at 111 Jamestown Rd.
On Friday, April 21, meetings will resume at 8:00 a.m. in Blow Hall and should conclude at approximately 12:00 p.m.
All times are approximate, and the Board reserves the right to adjust its schedule as necessary. The meetings are open to the public, but there will be no opportunity for public comment.
In addition to the regular Board meetings, the Presidential Search Committee, which includes members of the Board, will hold its first meeting on Friday, April 21, at 1:00 p.m. in the Board Room in Blow Hall. Members of the search committee will also participate in campus forums on Wednesday, April 19, with W&M staff at 10:00 a.m. and faculty at 2:15 p.m. in the Commonwealth Auditorium in the Sadler Center, located at 200 Stadium Dr. The committee will then hold a forum with students at 8:15 p.m. in Room 1221 of the Integrated Science Center (ISC3) located at 540 Landrum Dr.
