Muscarelle Museum of Art closed for summer maintenance
William & Mary's Muscarelle Museum of Art will be closed this summer for routine maintenance. The museum is currently closed and will reopen on Sept. 28, 2013.
Earlier this year, the Muscarelle commemorated its 30th Anniversary with two groundbreaking exhibitions - Michelangelo: Sacred and Profane and Mattia Preti: A Brush with Passion. These two shows drew international attention to the museum, and brought in record-setting attendance.
